Halifax County Little Theatre will present “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical,” on Nov. 2 at The Prizery, 700 Bruce St. in downtown South Boston.

Additional performances will be held Nov. 3, 7-10, 12 and 14-17. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday performances are at 7:30 p.m. Sunday matinees are at 3 p.m. Tickets are $25 and are available online at https://hclt.booktix.com.

“Beautiful: The Carole King Musical” tells the story of Carole King’s rise to stardom, from being part of a hit songwriting team with her husband Gerry Goffin to her relationship with fellow writers and best friends Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann to becoming one of the most successful solo acts in popular music history. The jukebox musical features an array of beloved songs written by Gerry Goffin/Carole King and Barry Mann/Cynthia Weil, including “You’ve Got a Friend,” “One Fine Day,” “So Far Away,” Will You Love Me Tomorrow” and “Natural Woman.”
